This is one of the Fetching Mitts that I did on December 23. The pair took me pretty much the entire day, mainly because I kept doing other things. The yarn is 100% alpaca grown on the farm of a friend of my mothers. I was able to make them both from one skein of the yarn with a lot left over. They are so soft and warm. I definitely want to make sure to make it in a lighter color next time so the cable and rib pattern is visible.

Reading Fig and Plum this morning, I learned that Wikipedia actually has an entry for the Sweater Curse.

I got the digital camera that I wanted for Christmas, blog will be up soon! (I forgot to take pictures of the gifts I knitted for Christmas which upsets me, especially since I made a note to do so as I was walking out the door to come back. Grrr.

Hopefully I'll have the blog up and running by January 1st. I am waiting to see if I get the digital camera I've been asking for for Christmas, or at least waiting to buy one during the after Christmas sales. I figured it would be nice to have pictures of things that I am working on instead of just talking about them.
